No extra membership. No extra consult fees. Just the cost of your medication.

1

Have your consultation

Meet your Leger clinician to review bloods, confirm eligibility, and discuss GLP-1 options. Learn how it works, possible side effects, and target outcomes.

Not on TRT with Leger yet?

Let us know you're interested in weight loss when you book your TRT consultation.

2

If eligible, start treatment

Begin with a low dose of Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, or Saxenda, gradually increasing over months. Receive full instructions, injection guidance, and lifestyle support.

3

Monitor your progress

Submit a monthly online check-in with weight, waist measurement, side effects, and dose requests. Our clinical team reviews updates before approving prescriptions.

4

Maintenance and review

Once you reach your target weight, we can provide a maintenance dose if needed or support you to gradually taper off the medication. We’ll follow up for 12 months post-treatment to maintain results and restart if needed.

Less hunger, more muscle

Why combine TRT and GLP-1?

GLP-1 therapy reduces appetite and cravings, making sustainable weight loss easier. TRT supports body composition by helping preserve muscle while promoting fat loss.

Together, they’re the ideal pairing, supporting healthier body composition and targeting visceral fat, the type most linked to metabolic and cardiovascular risk.

How much does it cost?

Transparent monthly pricing for Wegovy® and Mounjaro® by dose. You only pay for the medication, with clinical support included.

What can I expect from treatment?

GLP-1 timeline: what to expect month by month

Month 1: Getting started

  • Target: 2-3% of your starting weight lost
  • You'll notice reduced hunger and cravings quite quickly
  • Energy may dip slightly as your body adjusts
  • Some people experience mild nausea or digestive changes

Month 2: Finding your rhythm

  • Target: 4-5% total weight loss from baseline
  • Hunger control becomes more consistent
  • Side effects typically settle down
  • You might increase to your first stable dose around now

Month 3: Building momentum

  • Target: 5-8% total weight loss from baseline
  • Clothes fit differently, even if the scales slow down
  • Energy levels start to improve
  • New habits are beginning to stick

Months 4-6: Steady progress

  • Month 6 target: 10-15% total loss
  • Weight loss continues at a steady, sustainable pace
  • You're likely settled into a stable dose that's working well
  • Focus on maintaining muscle through protein and activity

Months 6-12: Consolidation

  • Month 12 target: 15-20% total weight loss from baseline
  • Progress may slow but remains consistent
  • Body composition changes become really noticeable
  • Many people reach their target weight or body composition goal
  • Your dose might stay the same for months at a time

Beyond 12 months: Maintenance

  • You may stay on medication long-term or transition to a maintenance dose
  • The goal shifts to keeping weight off, not losing indefinitely
  • Regular check-ins help you adjust your approach as needed
  • Some people step down to a lower dose while maintaining their results
Which GLP-1 weight loss injections are avaliable?

We offer three different GLP-1 receptor agonists. They are Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, and Saxenda. These medications mimic a natural hormone to help control appetite, regulate blood sugar, and support sustainable fat loss.

Do you offer a lower-cost GLP-1 option?

Yes. If you’re eligible, Saxenda (liraglutide) is available and is usually our most affordable GLP-1 weight loss medication option. It’s taken as a daily injection, and the monthly cost depends on your dose as you titrate up.

Average monthly prices by dose:

- 0.6mg — £39

- 1.2mg — £79

- 1.8mg — £115

- 2.4mg — £155

- 3.0mg — £189

Your clinician will recommend the most suitable option based on your goals, medical history, and budget.

How does GLP-1 therapy work with TRT?

TRT boosts energy, mood, and muscle, but excess weight can hold back results.

GLP injections can support your TRT journey and overall health by quietening food noise so that you can lose weight, improve body composition, and support your metabolic health.

Am I eligible for weight loss injections?

You may be eligible for treatment with Leger if you are on TRT with us (or are looking to start) and have a :

  • BMI ≥ 30, or
  • BMI 27–29.9 with weight-related health conditions

Eligibility will be confirmed by your clinician based on health and blood results.

Are weight loss injections safe for men?

Yes - plus your treatment will be managed by the same experts who already know your testosterone replacement therapy treatment.

We prescribe as per NICE and MHRA guidance with appropriate monitoring and escalation procedures in place.

How are the injections administered?

You can take the medications as once-weekly injections at home, with nurse guidance and gradual dose adjustments.

Once you start treatment with us, you'll get access to our weight loss medication guide which goes through in detail how to take the medication, what to expect, and how to make the most of your treatment.

Can I continue long-term?

Yes, there are options for longer-term maintenance if that's suitable for you. Or, once you reach your target weight, we can begin tapering you off of the medications and follow-up with your care for up to 12 months.

How can I start weight loss injections?

Speak to your TRT clinician or contact our team.

After that, you will be asked to complete an eligibility form, have a consultation, and receive a personalised plan.

I'm on GLP-1 medication with a different provider, can I switch?

Yes, it’s very easy to switch your GLP-1 medication to Leger.

If you’re already a Leger member for TRT, you can add weight loss medication to your treatment plan with no extra membership fee and no additional consultation charges; you’ll only pay for the medication.

If you’re not on TRT with Leger yet, you can book an initial consultation (or a switch consultation) and tell us you’re interested in weight loss medication. One of the key benefits is that you can have both treatments managed under one clinician who’s experienced in TRT care.

This combined approach can be especially helpful because excess weight and low testosterone can reinforce each other. Higher body fat is linked with lower testosterone, and low testosterone can make it harder to lose weight by impacting energy, motivation, and body composition. Supporting weight loss can help improve testosterone health — and optimising testosterone can help make weight loss feel more achievable.

Why is Leger now offering weight loss medication?

Because weight and testosterone health are closely connected, and treating them together can give better, more sustainable results.

Carrying extra body fat, especially around the middle, is associated with lower testosterone and higher metabolic risk. At the same time, low testosterone can make weight loss harder by affecting energy, motivation, and body composition, including how easily you build or maintain muscle. That can create a frustrating cycle where weight impacts testosterone, and testosterone symptoms make weight harder to shift.

By offering GLP-1 weight loss medication alongside TRT, we can help break that cycle in a clinically guided way. Weight loss medication can reduce appetite and cravings so it’s easier to lose weight steadily, while TRT can support lean muscle and healthier body composition as your weight changes.

We also want this to be affordable and straightforward. If you’re already with Leger for TRT, adding weight loss medication comes with no extra membership fees and no additional consultation charges. You simply pay for the medication. And having both treatments managed under one experienced clinician helps keep your care joined-up, consistent, and personalised.
