The full breakdown

The first year of treatment costs more due to extra monitoring and dose adjustments. After that, your monthly fee decreases.

2 pre-consultation blood tests‎ ‎ £29 and £79 (+£35 for a blood draw)
  • The British Society of Sexual Medicine (BSSM) requires that anyone starting TRT has at least two blood tests. If your testosterone level is low, the next step is a consultation.
  • Test 1 (Testosterone Blood Test) is £29 and measures your total testosterone level. This is a finger-prick test taken at home.
  • Test 2 (Complete TRT Blood Test) is £79 which is a more comprehensive health check. This is a venous test — it's an additional £35 for a blood draw at a clinic.
Consultation with a TRT specialist doctor‎ – £258
  • Your initial 45-minute video consultation is always with a doctor who specialises in TRT, so you'll know you're getting the best advice.
  • They'll review your test results, assess your symptoms, discuss fertility, check your eligibility, and talk you through the different treatment options.
Leger membership fee Year 1 £28 per month | Year 2 £23 per month
  • Year 1: £28 per month, or pay £278 annually (£23.17 per month).
  • Year 2: £23 per month, or pay £220 annually (£18.33 per month).
  • Your Leger membership includes support from your TRT treatment team, any private prescriptions (medication paid for separately), blood test reviews, and travel letters.
TRT medication £10-60 per month
  • TRT treatment prices vary depending on the type and dose. We've listed typical treatment prices above.
  • Pharmacies charge a postage cost, which is typically around £6.50.
  • Injection equipment is usually provided as a starter pack by the TRT supplier, lasting several months and costing around £30.
Monitoring blood tests from £52 per test

In the first year, you'll need the following blood tests:

  • The Monitoring Blood Test at 6 weeks, which is £52 (finger-prick sample, taken at home).
  • The Complete TRT Blood Test at 3, 6, and 12 months, which is £79 per test (+ £35 for a blood draw at a clinic).

Additional blood tests may be required if your dose changes. These cost between £43 and £84.

Other costs to budget for, just in case

Here are some other costs that might crop up during your treatment.

Add-on treatments individually priced
  • Some men benefit from add-on treatments, such as HCG (to help preserve fertility), aromatase inhibitors (to regulate excess oestrogen), or treatments for erectile dysfunction.
  • We've listed typical add-on prices above.
Nebido injection fee variable

Nebido must be injected by a healthcare professional. Some men are able to arrange this through their GP but you may need to pay for a private nurse service.

Extra monitoring blood tests from £43 per test
  • You might need extra blood tests if we need to tweak your dose, change your medication, or if we need to keep a closer eye on certain blood markers.
  • Our dose change tests range from £43 to £49. Venous tests require a blood draw at a clinic which is £35.
Review consultations from £58
  • Rest assured, expert support is included in your Leger membership.
  • If you or your TRT expert needs to discuss your treatment in more detail, you'll need a 15-minute review consultation to make sure everything looks good.
  • Review consultations cost £58 with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or £77 with a TRT doctor.
